Exploring Language Identity and Inequality in Hong Kong

A Service-Learning Study Abroad Program

This faculty-led study abroad program provides a unique opportunity for students to learn about the politics of language identity and teach in a summer language program in an innovative elementary school serving a low-income neighborhood in Hong Kong.

Course Duration: June 26 to July 10

On-Site Program in Hong Kong: July 12 to 23

Estimated travel cost at $3,000, plus 6 credits of summer tuition.
